The dynamic landscape of marketing methodologies has continually piqued our collective curiosity. Cast your mind back just over two decades ago; faxes were pivotal in sealing deals and navigating the labyrinth of property transactions. Even as Search Engine Optimisation and pay-per-click campaigns unfolded fresh avenues for leads, the digital world’s rapid evolution saw us trailing behind, significantly reshaping property marketing.

Historically, numerous leading brands in the industry have anchored their foundations not on steadfast reputation, but on brand recognition. This prominence often bestows upon them a perceived ‘right’ to dictate property instructions. But the pertinent question emerges: What is the true value offered to the client? The industry standard frequently witnesses the baton of a newly-instructed property being passed to a negotiator, and standard marketing methods being dutifully followed. In reality, it should linger with the experienced Director to assure continuity and expertise.

My objective is to reshape this model comprehensively. We are not simply conforming; we’re pioneering a reversal of the trend. Our recent venture in Eze Bord de Mer on the Côte d’Azur serves as a compelling example. While social media unmistakably forms our campaign’s pulsating heartbeat, our approach breaks through conventional bounds, embracing innovation. A collaborative journey brought me and THE DDRE Global esteemed team of Advisors – Jessica Bishop, Reme Nicole, Rosi Walden and Rasa Bagdonaviciute – along with a vibrant social media brigade, to the shores of the Côte d’Azur, each promoting this property through their unique blend of social media and networks. It’s all about collaboration. After all, the international property market is fundamentally built upon it.

Over two enriching days, we meticulously cultivated content, tailoring it to our global networks and connections. This marks a departure from the erstwhile method where local agents proactively extended their offerings to international firms. Today, we tightly clutch the reins on our property mandates, offering collaboration to local agents. Indeed, we are paving the way for everyone to collaborate: if they have a client, why not?

While some might label us as ‘disruptors,’ we proudly adorn that badge with trust. Indubitably, our mission is to disrupt, to rethink, and to pioneer a transformation in how properties are marketed on a global scale. The necessity for change is palpable. Forward-thinking sellers harmonise with our vision, acknowledging our endeavours in not merely competing, but collaborating. They witness us forging alliances with those who share our passion and ethos, adaptable free-thinkers, while larger companies wrestle with their lack of flexibility.

Recently, a French television program illuminated the entities monopolising the luxury and super prime markets of the Riviera. This spurred me to delve deeper, gauging perspectives from a plethora of independent local agents. While their insights were enlightening, one thing crystallised – the era of arrogance has dissipated. We’re ushering in the age of collaboration, networking, and mastering the artful science of property sales.
